Books and nostalgia are the theme of the night, and this evening we are focused on the Little House on the Prairie Series. This series by Laura Ingalls Wilder was introduced to me by my late Grandmother as a child. Every time we took a trip, she’d give me a new book from her set (the blue 1950′s set, does anyone else remember those?) and I’d read it eagerly. My grandparents even took me on a a trip to Missouri to visit the last home of that Laura lived in. I have great memories of these books and definitely plan to re-read them often.
And the other day I ran across this blog post from the Stray Thoughts blog and thought it was a perfect challenge for this month. So, I’m re-reading Little House in the Big Woods (with a review to come) for this month. Which book are you reading?
